A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. ' .......
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners_p__ of said property ha ve
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
offered
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of IRA A. KEESEE and ETTA
KEESEE, ,,husband and wife,, and KENNETH KEESEE, a married man,.
and MARILYN KEESEE, wife of Kenneth Keese.e.,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
.public utility purposes
, and more particularly descriSed as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under, along and across the Westerly 50.00 feet (as
measured at right angles from the center line of Los
Angeles Street) of that portion of the Northeast quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 26, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, pages 7 et seq.,
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the South line
of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said
Section 26, with the center line of the State Highway;
thence Easterly 234.79 feet along the South line of said
Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 26,
to the point of intersection with the West line of the
right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company;
thence Northwesterly 160.93 feet along the West line of
said right of way to a point; thence West and parallel to
the South line of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest
quarter of said Section 26, a distance of 324.82 feet to
a point on the center line of the State Highway; thence
South 40° 49' 30" East along said center line 203.38 feet
to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 20 feet.

BE 1T FURIHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
