A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR REPLACEMENT AND
MAINTENANCE OF A DRAINAGE PIPE AND A T~EMPORARY
CONSTRUC_U_~ON EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit' An easement for replacement and
maintenance of a drainage_pipe and a temporary ..construction
easement; and ' ....
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has_____ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Ar~aheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MARIETTA HOPPER, a .widow,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for replacement and
maintenance of a drainage pipe ~nd a temporary construction
~se~ent ~ a-~more particularly described as follows-
PARCEL ONE: An easement for the replacement and maintenance
of a 36"~ihch reinforced concrete drainage pipe, over, under
and across a strip of land 10.00 feet in width, being a
portion of Lot 1 of Tract 1005, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 33, page 32 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, the centerline of said 10.00 foot strip
being described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 1 of said Tract 1005,
said Southwest corner being the intersection of the Westerly
line of said lot and the Northerly right of way line of
Crescent Drive; thence North 78° 56' 40" East along said
Northerly right of way line 219.63 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Northwesterly, having a radius of
280.00 feet; thence Easterly along said curve through a cen-
tral angle of 20° 59' 40" an arc distance of 102.60 feet;
thence North 57° 57' East a distance of 9.89 feet to the begin-
ning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly having a radius
of 200 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 56° 40' 00" an arc distance of 197.80 feet to
the True Point of Beginning, said point of beginning hereafter
referred to as Point "A"; thence North 53° 39' 37" West a
distance of 65.00 feet.
PARCEL TWO: A temporary construction easement over, under and
across a Strip of land 20.00 feet in width, the centerline
of said 20.00 foot strip being described as follows:
Beginning at Point "A" as mentioned in the above described Par-
cel One; thence North 53o39' 37" West a distance of 75.00 feet.

Said temporary easement to expire upon the completion of
the installation of said drainage pipe but no later than
March 1, 1964.
