I~EiiF~tS~ the City Planning Commission did adopt
]~,esolu~ion No. 1033--Series 1963-64 recommending to 'the City
~;o~nc~l~ ~hat tb~ name of Anaheim Road 'be changed 'to Miraloma
A~enue in the event that it was determined to be in the best
~!nterest of the City to change the name of Los Angeles Street
Anaheim Boulevard; and
WREREAS~ the Ci'~y Council did adopt Kesolution No.
64.~.-!23 changing the name of Los Angeles Street to Anaheim
~ouieva~d~ and does find that 'two streets in the territorial
!im~ts of ~he City of Anaheim with near duplication in names
~?..~i result in confusion to the public~ and that by reason
the foregoing facts public convenience and necessity
~'equi~-e that the name of Anaheim iload be changed.
NOW, THEkEFOKE, ~E i'l~ ~iESOLVED by the City Council
~_~f the City of Anaheim that th..~ name of Anaheim Road, in 'the
~-~-~ ~,~vers~.~e Freeway on -the west to
~cy of Anaheim, from the '~ ....
S,.~.fferson Street on the east~ be changed to Miraloma Avenue,
said change to 'be effective immediately; and that signs
oearing the new street name with the old name underneath
shall be maintained for a period of -three years.
