A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING PROPOSED AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO THE GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of an amendment to the General Plan in the
general location and vicinity of the property described in
Reclassification Proceedings No. 63-64-71 and being generally
bounded by Loara Street on the west~ Westmont Drive on the
South, a line 130 feet west of I~yer Drive on the east, and
Carbon Creek Channel on the north, and comprising approximately
thirty acres, as shown and described on Exhibit No. 1 on file
in the City Planning Department, after having held a public hear-
ing in the manner and as prescribed by law to consider said
proposed amendment, and after having received evidence and
reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, following the hearing thereon, the Planning
Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings
of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending
denial of said amendment to the General Plan, designated as
Amendment No. 1; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, a~d recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the llth day
of February, 1964 as the time and the Council Chamber in the
City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed Amendment No. I to the General Plan
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided
by law; and
W-HEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and
did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
T~rHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
~ha~ the aforementioned and described property included within
nhe proposed amendment to the General Plan is more suitable
for the general land use presently shown on the General Plan
Map, and that Amendment No. 1 to the General Plan, covering
'the aforementioned and described property included within the
!proposed Amendment No. i to the Gener~ Plan, should not be

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 1 to the General
Plan, encompassing the aforementioned and generally described
property, as shown on said Exhibit No. 1, be, and the same is
hereby disapproved as recommended by the City Planning Com-
mission.
