A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE AMENDMENT OF A
CERTAIN DECLARATION OF RESTRICTIONS RECORDED
IN CONNECTION WITH RECLASSIFICATION NO. 61,62-64;
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN SUCH
CONSENT; AND REQUIRING THE FILING AND APPROVAL OF
PLANS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROPERTY REFER-
RED TO IN SAID RECLASSIFICATION PRIOR TO ISSUANCE
OF BUILDING PERMIT.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit,
on July 24, 1962 adopt Ordinance No. 1739 in Reclassification
Proceedings No. 61-62-64 changing the following described
property from R-i, ONE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE to C-i,
NEIGHBORHOOD-COMMERCIAL ZONE:
Lot No. 105 of Tract No. 1453, as shown on
a map recorded in Book 42, Pages 41 and 42
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California.
AND WHEREAS, at the time of said change of zone, and
in connection with said reclassification proceedings, certain
covenants, conditions and restrictions were recorded in the
Office o~ the Orange County Recorder limiting the uses of sub-
ject property to business and professional offices only; and
WHEREAS, the present owners of said property desire
to use the property for a jewelry and gift shop and have re-
quested that the City of Anaheim consent to the amendment of
said covenants, conditions and restrictions and allow a jewelry
and gift shop to be added to the permitted uses; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that said request
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim does hereby
consent to the amendment of that certain Declaration of Restric-
tions recorded April 5, 1962 in Book 6066, Page 419 of Official
Records of Orange County, California, Document No. 4960, by
adding '~a jewelry and gift shop" to the permitted uses of the
property described in said Declaration of Restrictions; and
that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized
~o sign such consenu for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that final plans for develop-
ment or remodeling of subject property shall be submitted to
and approved by the City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this lith day of February, 1964.
