A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY' OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR A WATER LINE~ AND
WATER AND SANITARY SEWER LINES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal puzposes, to wit~, Easen~ents for a water line,
an.d..kwater and sani~..ar¥ se_wer_line~ ....... _ -_~ _ . ;
and
WHEREAS, t.h.e owner__ of said property has
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
offered
WHEREAS, the City Council oi the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offe~ and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of GREAT WEST_ERN LAND COMPANY,

to sell to the City of Ao~aheim the following described real
property situated {n the City of Ar~aheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for easements for a war. er line,
~nd water ~nd sanitar sewe~r lines ~ ,

PARCEL ONE: An easement for the installation and maintenance
of a domestic water line and sanitary sewer line over, under
and across that portion of the Jonathan Watson Tract, as
shown on a Map filed in Book 2, page 26% of Record of Surveys
in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California, and a portion of Block 36 of the Yorba Linda
Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, pages 17 and
18 of Miscellaneous MaPs, records of said Orange County,
and that portion of the land alloted to Maria Jesus Wilson
de Shorb in Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de
Santa Aha, recorded in Book "B" of Judgments of the 17th
Judicial District Court of California, and that portion of
the land alloted to the heirs of Leandro Serrano, in said
decree, said easement being a strip of land 16.50 feet in
width lying 2.50 feet Easterly and 14.00 feet Westerly of
the following described line:
Commencing at a point in the Northeasterly prolongation of
the Northwesterly line of Lot 23 of Tract No. 5000, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 191, pages 28, 29 and 30 of
Miscellan. eous Maps, recor_ds of said Orange County, said
point bezng North 60° 14' 40" East 34.00 feet from the most
Northerly corner of said Lot 23; thence parallel with the
center line of Redrock Street as shown on said Tract No.
5000, North 29° 45' 20" West 264.33 feet to a point on the
Northwesterly line of said Tract No 5000 said point being
the ~-ue point of beginning; thence ~orth ~9° 45' 20" West
438.00 feet, more or less, to the Southerly line of that
certain 15.00 foot strip of land described as
Parcel 1 in Deed recorded June 14, 1963, in
Book 6590, page 931 of Official Records, the side
lines of said 16.50 foot wide easement to be
prolonged or shortened to terminate on said
Southerly line.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for the installation and
maintenance of a water line over, under and across
the Westerly 6.00 feet of Lot 40 and Lot 43 of
Tract No. 5000, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 191, pages 28, 29 and 30 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Ci. ty AUditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
