RESOLUTION NO. 64R-31
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
WITH REFERENCE TO CONSTRUCTION OF AN EMER-
GENCY STANDBY CONNECTION BETWEEN THE DISTRICT'S
WATER SYSTEM AND THE CITY'S WATER SYSTEM IN
TRACT NO. 3349.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has acquired a portion
of the Dyke Water Company's system in Tract No. 3349 adjacent
to facilities of the Stanton County Water District; and
WHEREAS, it would be of mutual benefit to the City
of Anaheim and the Stanton County Water District to provide
an emergency standby connection between the two systems at
or near the intersection of Sherrill Street and Tina Way;
and
WHEREAS, an agreement 'between the City and said
District providing for tile construction and operation of such
emergency standby connection has been presented to and reviewed
by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the entering into such an agreement is in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute, on
behalf of the City of Anaheim, an agreement with the Stanton
County Water District substantially the same as the agreement
presented to the Council providing for the construction and
operation of the emergency standby connection at Sherrill
Street and Tina Way.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me 'this 21st day of January, 1964.

the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on the 21st day of
January, 1964, by the following vote of the members thereof:

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
