RESOLUTION NO. 64R-26 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT NO BIDS WERE RECEIVED AT THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE RESTROOM ADDITION TO CITY HALL, JOB NO. 692, IN RESPONSE TO THE ADVERTISEMENT THEREFOR, AND AUTHOR!ZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROCEED WITH SAID IMPROVEMENT. WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the lOth day of December, 1963, the City Council of the City of Anaheim adopted Resolution No. 63R-97~ finding and determining that public con- venience and necessity required the construction of a public improvement, to wit, the addition of a restroom to the City Hall located at 20~ East Lincoln Avenue, in the City of Ana- heim, Job No. 692; and WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct the City Clerk to publish a notice accordtn9 to law, inviting sealed proposals for the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, materials and equipment, and al.1 utilities and transportation, includin9 power, fuel and water, and per- forming all work necessary to construct and complete, in a good and workmanlike manner, the said public improvement, and did fix the 16th day of january, 196~, at the hour of 2:00 olclock P.M. as the date and hour for the opening of bids; and WHEREAS, no bids were received by the City of Anaheim at the office of the City Clerk up to the hour of g:O0 olclock P.M. on the 16th day of January, 196[~, in res- ponse to the notice published by the City Clerk on December 19th and 26th, 1963; and 1~HEREAS, the City Council finds that no further no- tice should be published inviting sealed proposals rot said job, but that the City Manager should be authorized to procure the necessary material and proceed with the installation of said restroom in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Architect Marko E. Botich for job No. 692, which are on file with the City Engineer. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it does find that no bids were received at the office of the City Clerk by the hour designa- ted, in response to the notice published inviting sealed proposals for the construction of a restroom at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, Job No. 692, and it does hereby direct that: 1. No further notice be published inviting sealed proposals for said job. The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authori- zed to procure the necessary material and proceed with the construction of said rest- room in accordance with the plans and specifi- cations prepared by Architect Marko E. Bottch -1- for Job No. 692, which are on file with the City Engineer. THE FOREOOINO RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 21st day of January, 196h..
