A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM PROCLAIMING THE MONTH OF
JANUARY, 1964 "REGISTER TO VOTE MONTH."
WHEREAS, the year 1964 is an important election year
of national and local scope; and
WHEREAS, it is incumbent upon every citizen to exer-
cise his constitutional right to vote; and
WHEREAS, many individuals in the City of Anaheim are
not registered voters;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the month of January, 1964, shall
be and hereby is, proclaimed "Register to Vote Month."
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 7th day of January, 1964.
