RESOLUTION NO. 63R-I041
A r~ESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUN.CIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A C~~RGE FOR THE
PURCHASE AND PLANTING OF TREES ADJACENT TO
COMMERCL~L AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENTS,
PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOP:HENTS, AND OTHER
RESIDENTL\L DEVELOPMENTS EXCEPTING SUB-
DIVISIONS.
\\THEREAS, Resolution No. L~552 of the City Council did
2stablish and fix a charge for the purchase and planting of
street trees within ne'tv subdivisions; and
'\ffiEREAS, I<2so1uti.on No. 4552 does not establish a charge
for the purchase and planting of street trees adjacent to corn-
rne:ccial and industrial developments, planned residential develop-
ments, and other residential developments excepting subdivision;
and
\\Tl-lER&.\.S, it is found to be in the public interest that
the City of Anaheitn pursue a street tree planting program uni-
formly throughout the City; and
vffiEREAS, it Ls deemed desirable by the City Council of
[he. City of Anaheim that in addition to the charge established
by .i.~esolution No. 4552, a charge be established for commercial
and industrial developments, planned residential developments,
anj other residential developments, excepting subdivisions; and
~J1-IEF.EAS, after due study and investigation, the City
Co~nc~L has. determined the necessary and proper charge to be .
n~Qe Ior thlS purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahei.m that in commercial and industrial develop-
ments, planned resl.dential developments, and other residential
developments, excepting subdivisions, the developer shall pay
to the City of Anaheim a fee of fifteen (15) cents per front
t as a condition or approval of said development, except
that for industrial streets, other than arterial highways as
, signated on the circu~ation element of the General Plan _
