A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COOPERATION
AGREEMENT NO. 88 FOR PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITH THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency is charged
with implementing the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment
Project Alpha; and
WHEREAS, Section 33445 of the Health and Safety Code
authorizes the Agency to pay all or part of the value of the land
for, and the cost of, the installation and construction of any
building, facility, structure, or other improvement which is
publicly owned; and
WHEREAS, an agreement entitled Cooperation Agreement
No. 88 has been prepared, pursuant to which the City of Anaheim
will install certain publicly-owned facilities and the Agency
agrees to reimburse the City of Anaheim therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency that the Agency finds and determines as
follows:
1. That the facilities to be installed by the City
of Anaheim pursuant to Cooperation Agreement No. 88 will be of
benefit to the Project Area of Redevelopment Project Alpha and
the immediate neighborhood in which the Project Area is located;
2. That no other reasonable means of financing the
facilities is available to the City of Anaheim; and
3. That the payment of funds for the cost of the
facilities will assist in the elimination of one or more
blighting conditions inside the Project Area of Redevelopment
Project Alpha and is consistent with the Agency's Implementation
Plan adopted pursuant to Section 33490 of the California Health
and Safety Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms and conditions of
Cooperation Agreement No. 88 be, and they are hereby, accepted
and approved.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and
Secretary be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute Cooperation Agreement No. 88 on behalf of the Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency this 12th day of September, 1995.
