A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
("AGENCY") APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF
THE COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ("CITY") CONCERNING ACQUISITION OF REAL
PROPERTY IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PORTION OF AGENCY'S
COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
AREA.
WHEREAS, Agency is charged with implementing the Redevelopment Plan for the
Commerical/Industrial Redevelopment Project Area (the "Project Area"); and
Vv2-IEREAS, Section 33445 of the Health and Safety Code authorizes the Agency to pay
all or a part of the value of the land for and the cost of the installation and construction of any building,
facility, structure, or other improvement which is publicly owned; and
WHEREAS, an agreement entitled Cooperation Agreement Concerning Acquisition of
Real Property in the North Central portion of the Commercial/Industrial Redevelopment Project Area (the
"Cooperation Agreement") has been prepared whereby City will acquire certain real property from the
County of Orange and the Agency agrees to reimburse the City' therefor; and
WHEREAS, the real property to be acquired by the City pursuant to the Cooperation
Agreement is hereby determined to be of benefit to the Project Area and the immediate neighborhood in
which thc Project Area is located; and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that no other reasonable means of financing the
facilities are available to Ci~'; and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the payment of funds for the cost of acquiring the
real property will assist in thc elimination of one or more blighting conditions inside the Project Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by Agency that the terms and conditions of the
Cooperation Agreement be, and they are hereby, accepted and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and Secretary be, and they are hereby,
authorized and directed to execute the Cooperation Agreement on behalf of Agency.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by Agency this 18 day of
July ,1995.
