RESOLUTION NO. ARA94-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING AND
ADOPTING THE RECOVERY PLAN FOR THE ANAHEIM STADIUM PROJECT AND
RECOMMENDING CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim adopted Ordinance No. 2934 on
June 8, 1971, pursuant to Section 33201 of the Health and Safety Code, which created the
Anaheim Community Redevelopment Commission (hereinafter the "Commission") whose function,
among other things, is to prepare a redevelopment plan (or recovery plan) for each proposed
project area; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has prepared a proposed Recovery Plan for the Anaheim
Stadium Earthquake Disaster Recovery Project (the "Recovery Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the Commission has prepared a Report to the City Council of the City of
Anaheim on the proposed Recovery Plan (the "Report") which contains the items and information
required by Health and Safety Code Section 33352 of the California Community Redevelopment
Law, Health and Safety Code Section 33000 ¢, seq.; and
WHEREAS, the Commission approved the Report and authorized submittal of the Report
and the proposed Recovery Plan to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1994, the City Council, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
(hereinafter the "Agency") and the Commission held a joint public hearing on the adoption of the
proposed Recovery Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed and ratified all previous actions taken by the
Commission concerning the adoption and preparation of the Recovery Plan for the Anaheim
Stadium Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency as
follows:
1. The Agency hereby ratifies the Commission's Resolution No 94-06, approving and
adopting the Recovery Plan for the Anaheim Stadium Project and recommending that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim approve and adopt the Recovery Plan.
2. The Agency hereby approves and adopts the Recovery Plan for the Anaheim Stadium
Project and recommends that the Recovery Plan be approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim.
