A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING
AND ADOPTING THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE BROOKHURST
COMMERCIAL CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND
RECOMMENDING CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim adopted Ordinance No. 2934 on June 8, 1971,
pursuant to Section 33201 of thc California Community Redevelopment Law (H~th and Safety Code Section
33000 et seq.), which created the Anaheim Community Redevelopment Commission Cncrcinafler the
"Commission") whose function, among other things, is to prepare a redevelopment plan for each proposed project
area; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has prepared a proposed Paxicvdopment Plan for the Brookhurst
Commercial Corridor Redevelopment Projc~ (the "Redevelopment Plan"); and
WHEREAS, thc Commission has submitted the proposed Redevelopment Plan to the Planning
Commission of the City of Anaheim for its Report and Recommendations, and thc Planning Commission by
Resolution No. PC93-128 adopted November 15, 1993 recommended approval and adoption of the proposed
Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has also pr~par~ a Report to thc City Council of the City of AnaheiTM on
the proposed Redevelopment Plan, said Report containing the items and information set forth in Health and
Safet~ Code Se~on 33352 and conforming to the r~luir~aents of th~ California Community Redevelopment
Law; and
WHEREAS, on November 17, 1993, the Commission approved said Report and authorized submittal
of said Report and the proposed Redevelopment Plan to thc City Council; and
WHEREAS, on November 30, 1993, the City Council, the ,Anaheim Redevelopment Agency,
(hereina_f~r the "Agency") and the Commission held a joint public hearing on the adoption of the proposed
Redevelopment Plan; and - -
WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed,and considered thc Final EIR for the Plan prepared and
submitted pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21151 and Health and Safety Code Section 33352, has
certified the Final EIR, and has made certain environmental findings and adopted a Statement of Overriding
Considerations and a Mitigation Monitoring Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has considered the Final EIR as certified by the Agency, has also made
certain environmental findings and adopted a statement of Ovemding Considerations and a mitigation and
monitoring program, the Report and Recommendations of the Planning Commission and has provided an
opportunity for all persons to be heard and has considered all evidence and testimony presented for or against
any and all aspects of the proposed Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed and ratified all previous actions taken by the Commi.~ion
concerning the adoption and preparation of the Redevelopment Plan for the Brookhurst Commercial Corridor
Redevelopment Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency as follows:

.Ag~. c~. hereby raft_ties the Commission's Resolution No. ~ approving and adopting the
Redevelopment Plan tor the Brookhurst Commercial Corridor Redevelopment Project and recommending that the
City Council of the City of Anaheim approve and adopt said Plan.
2. The Agency hereby approves and adopts the Redevelopment Plan for thc Brookhurst
Commercial Corridor Redevelopment Proj~x;t and reco~ that the Redevelopment Plan be approved and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RF_~OLUTION is approved and adopted by the Anaheim
