A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY DELEGATING TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF
THE AGENCY WITH THE CONCURRENCE OF THE
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER AND AS
TO THE CITY HALL WEST BUILDING, THE ADDITIONAL
CONCURRENCE OF THE UTILITIES DEPARTMENT
GENERAL MANAGER THE AUTHORITY TO APPROVE,
EXECUTE AND CAUSE RECORDATION OF NOTICES OF
COMPLETION ON THE TRADE CONTRACT PROJECTS FOR
PUBLIC WORKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE KOLL ANAHEIM
CENTER PROJECT.
WHEREAS, a notice of completion for a public work is a written
notice, executed and verified by the public entity owner or its
agent stating the following: date of completion; name and address
of the owner public entity; the nature of the interest or estate of
the owner public entity; a description of the site sufficient for
identification, containing the street address of the site, if any;
and the name of the original contractor with a general statement of
the kind of work done or materials furnished pursuant to such
contract.
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that the authority to
approve, execute and cause recordation of notices of completion be
delegated to the Executive Director of the Agency, and
WHEREAS, such authority is necessary to facilitate
administration of the components of the Koll Anaheim Center,
("Project"), specifically (i) the City Hall West Building Project;
(ii) the 125 parking structure; (iii) the 295 parking structure;
and (iv) Site Improvement Work.
WHEREAS, future components of the projects which comprise Koll
Anaheim Center Project will be required to implement subsequent
phases of the Koll Anaheim Center Master Plan, and similar
component projects will require this same process to effectively
implement the Project and such notice of completion authorization
shall also apply.
NOW THEREFORE, THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY does resolve
as follows:
1. The Executive Director of the Agency with the concurrence
of the City Engineer/Director of Public Works is hereby authorized
to approve, execute, and cause recordation of any notice of
completion for a Trade Contract for each trade component of the
Koll Anaheim Center Project when the requirements of law are met
for issuance of such notices of completion. As to the City Hall
West Building Project, the additional concurrence of the Utilities
Department General Manager is necessary to process such authorized
notices of completion.
The foregoing resolution is approved and adopted by the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency this 17th day of Noyember ,
1992.
