RESOLUTION NO. A~92--22
RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING FROM THE
LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCE AUTHORITY
RESOLVED, by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency"), as follows:
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate a financing for the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the
"Agency") and to access certain available moneys of the Local Government Finance Authority
CLGFA") available from the prior issuance by LGFA of its revenue bonds (the "LGFA Bonds"),
the Agency executed that certain Associate Membership Agreement, dated as of September 1,
1988, by and between LGFA and the Agency (the "Associate Membership Agreement"), for the
purpose of becoming an associate member of LGFA;
WhqEREAS, a portion of the LGFA Bonds were remarketed in 1988 and such portion was
loaned to the Agency (the "Agency LGFA Bonds") pursuant to that certain Loan Agreement, dated
as of September 1, 1988, among LGFA, the Agency and Bank of America National Trust and
Savings Association (the "LGFA Loan Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Public Financing Authority did, on April 14, 1992, issue its
1992 Tax Allocation Revenue Bonds (Redevelopment Project Alpha) for the purpose, among other
things of providing for the defeasance of the Agency LGFA Bonds and the LGFA Loan
Agreement;
WHEREAS, Section 2 of the Agreement provides that the Agency may at any time
withdraw from LGFA if such withdrawal is approved by resolution of the Agency, upon delivery
of written notice to LGFA; and
WHEREAS, since the Agency LGFA Bonds and the LGFA Loan Agreement are no longer"
legally outstanding and the Agency has no other business purpose for remaining a member of
LGFA, the Agency has determined to formally withdraw from LGFA;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED and DETERMINED, as follows:
Section 1. The Agency shall withdraw from LGFA and the Executive Director or other
appropriate officer of the Agency shall give written notice of such withdrawal to LGFA, together
with a certified copy of this resolution.
Section 2. This Resolution shah take effect from and after the date of its passage and
adoption.
The FOREGOING RESOLUTION was approved and adopted by the Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency this 27th day of October ,1992:
