ARA1990-29RESOLUTION NO. ARA 90-29 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW FOR THE PROPOSED BLOCK 8 DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, on November 23, 1976, the Community Redevelopment Commission of the City of Anaheim (the ,,Commission"), by motion, together with the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency"), by Resolution No. ARA76-38, certified that the Final Subsequent Environmental Impact Report (the "FSEIR") for the Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha (the "Project") was prepared and completed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 ("CEQA"), the State Guidelines and Agency Procedures for the implementation thereof (the "Agency Procedures"); and WHEREAS, in order to implement the Redevelopment Plan, as amended, the Agency proposes to enter into a Disposition and Development Agreement with VINEYARD HISTORIC HOMES (the "Developer"), providing for the sale and development of certain real property (the "Sites") in the Project; and WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared an Initial Study analyzing the environmental impacts associated with the proposed Block 8 project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Agency hereby certifies that it has reviewed and considered the Initial Study with respect to the proposed Disposition and Development Agreement between the Agency and the Developer. 2. The Agency hereby certifies that it has reviewed and considered the FSEIR. 3. Based upon the foregoing review, the Agency hereby finds and determines the following: A. No substantial changes are proposed in the Redevelopment Project, or with respect to the circumstances under which the Project is to be undertaken, which will require important revisions in FSEIR and no new information of substantial importance to the Project has become available due to the involvement of new environmental impacts not covered in said previous FSEIR; and -1- B. No Negative Declaration, Subsequent Environmental Impact Report, Supplement or Addendum to the FSEIR is necessary or required; and C. No mitigation measures identified in the FSEIR are applicable to the Disposition and Development Agreement and the proposed sale and development of the Sites. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency this 25th day ofsap~mh~r , 1990.
