A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority
was posted at 4'00 p.m. on April 13, 1990 at the Civic Center kiosk,
containing all items as shown herein.
Acting Chairman Pickler called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing
Authority to order at 5'46 P.M.
MINUTES; Authority Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular
meeting held March 13, 1990. Authority Member Daly seconded the motion.
Authority Member Hunter was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of
$398.45 for the week ending April 6, 1990 and $6,492.05 for the week ending
April 13, 1990, in accordance with the 1989-90 Budget , were approved.
CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS; On motion by Authority Member Daly, seconded by
Authority Member Ehrle, the following actions were authorized in accordance
with the reports and recommendations furnished each Authority Member and as
listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda. Authority Member Hunter was absent.
1. 177,174; Authorizing the Chairman to execute an endorsement certifying
the Housing Authority's willingness to participate in the Rental
Rehabilitation Grant Program. (RRGP)
2, 177,109, RESOLUTION NO. AHA90-2: Authorizing the submittal of an
application to the State of California, Department of Housing and Community
Development, Division of Community Affairs for a grant (in the amount of
$250,000) under its emergency shelter program. (Amount increased to $500,000.)
Award the program fund to Anaheim Interfaith Shelter, Inc., for costs
associated with providing shelter services to the homeless families in Anaheim.
Authority Member Daly offered Resolution No. AHA90-2 for adoption. Refer to
Resolution Book.
RESOLUTION NO, AHA90-2;. A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
AUTHORIZING THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, DIVISION
OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR A GRANT UNDER ITS EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM.

The Acting Chairman declared Resolution No. AHA90-2 duly passed and adopted.
Bertha Chavoya, Housing Manager, clarified for the Acting Chairman that the
maximum grant award amount is, in fact, $500,000 instead of $250,000 as
printed on the agenda. They received last-minute notice from the State
relative to the increased funds available, but the agenda had already been
printed.

No items of public interest were addressed.
ADJOURNMENT' Authority Member Pickler moved to adjourn. Authority Member
Kaywood seconded the motion. Authority Member Hunter was absent. MOTION
