End of Consent Calendar. PUBLIC INPUT: Bill Erickson, 301 East North Street. At the meeting of January 27, 1987 when the homeless issue was discussed, that segment was not taped and broadcast on Cable TV. He called ML Media (formally Storer) and was informed that they do not tape the Housing Authority meetings for re-broadcast. He questioned why. Chairman Bay. In the past, Storer has not covered Redevelopment Agency or Housing Authority meetings. He does not know who makes those decisions. City Manager William Talley. The Cable Franchise with the City requires that ML Media, which has replaced Storer, cover City Council meetings. Even though the City Council convenes shortly before their normal Council meetings as the Redevelopment Agency and Housing Authority, there is no requirement that ML Media cover those two meetings. As a practice, therefore, they elected not to cover the last Housing Authority meeting. ADJOURNMENT: Authority Member Kaywood moved to adjourn. Authority Member Bay seconded the motion. One Vacancy. MOTION CARRIED. (1:41 p.m.) LEONORA N. SOHL, SECRETARY 87-14
