Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority to
order at 10:06 a.m.
MINUTES: Authority Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular
meetings held November 20, 1984 and April 2, 1985. Authority Member Overholt
seconded the motion. Authority Member Pickler was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of
$484.70, in accordance with the 1984-85 Budget, were approved.
CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Authority Member Roth, seconded by
Authority Member Overholt, the following actions were authorized in accordance
with the reports and recommendations furnished each Authority Member and as
listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda. Authority Member Roth offered
Resolution No. AHA85-6 for adoption. Refer to Resolution Book.
1. 177/158: Authorizing the Chairman to sign a Letter of Intent for
submission to the Department of Transportation for acquisition of an excess
land parcel located northerly of Routes 55 and 91 interchange, at an estimated
cost of $984,800. This matter was continued from the meeting of April 9,
1985, to this date.
2. 177/137: RESOLUTION NO. AHA85-6: A RESOLUTION OF INDUCEMENT OF THE
ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
FINANCING THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF VARIOUS MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
RENTAL PROJECTS AND RELATED FACILITIES. (Authorizing a Resolution of
Inducement of the Authority relating to the Issuance of Bonds, in the amount
of $27,250,000, for the purpose of financing the acquisition and construction
of various multifamily residential rental projects and related facilities, by
Western National, Cal-Mark and Western National)
