Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority to
order at 9:47 a.m.
MINUTES: Approval of the minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of
$1,659.84, in accordance with the 1982-83 Budget, were approved.
CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Authority Member Overholt, seconded by
Authority Member Pickler, the following items were approved in accordance with
the reports, certifications and recommendations furnished each Authority
Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar; Authority Member Overholt
offered Resolution Nos. AHA82-10 through AHA82-12, both inclusive, for
adoption. Refer to Resolution Book.
1. 177.152: UNION BANK, CONTROL DATA CORPORATION AND THE SERVICE BUREAU
COMPANY: Authorizing an agreement and exhibits attached thereto with Union
Bank, Control Data Corporation and The Service Bureau Company for deposit of
funds and computer services to implement the Section 8 Housing Assistance
Payments Program.
RESOLUTION NO. AHA82-10: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH UNION BANK AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
(authorizing a General Depositary Agreement with Union Bank for deposit of
funds and authorizing the Chairman and Treasurer to execute signature cards
for the account to be opened)
2. 177.109: RESOLUTION NO. AHA82-11: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING
AUTHORITY APPROVING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE CALIFORNIA HOMEOWNERSHIP
ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CHAP) STANDARD AGREEMENT NO. 80-CHAP-013 AND AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN AND SECRETARY TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE ANAHEIM
HOUSING AUTHORITY. (assisting low- and moderate-income residents of the
Brookhurst Village Condominium Conversion in purchasing their units,
decreasing State funds committed to Program to $671,300)
3. 177.123: RESOLUTION NO. AHA82-12: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING
AUTHORITY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR THE ANAHEIM
REPLACEMENT HOUSING PROGRAM. (authorizing California Homeownership Assistance
Program (CHAP) Standard Agreement No. 82-CHAP-026 with the State Department of
Housing and Community Development in the amount of $1.9 million to assist
April 21, 1982 fire victims in purchasing a home)
