Priest HOUSING MANAGER: Lisa Stipkovich Chairman Seymour called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority to order at 1:17 P.M. MINUTES: On motion by Mrs. Kaywood, seconded by Mr. Overholt, minutes of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency regular meeting held July 29, 1980, were approved. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of $43,682.29, in accordance with the 1980-81 Budget, were approved. -- 177.123: AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF ANAHEIM - PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY: On report and recommendation by the Executive Director, Mr. Roth moved that agreement with the City of Anaheim for the purchase of property located at 1008 North Patt Street be approved, and the Chairman and Secretary of the Housing Authority be authorized to execute necessary documents therefor. Mr. Bay seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. 177: AWARD OF ADDITIONAL HUD SECTION 8 "EXISTING" HOUSING UNITS: Executive Director Norman Priest advised he had been notified that an additional $216,996 would be allocated to the Anaheim Housing Authority for "existing" housing units. In response to question by Mr. Seymour, Housing Manager Lisa Stipkovich advised that the Housing Division was beginning to implement utilization of Section 8 funds in mobile home parks, as recently authorized through a change in legislation. It was intended to first solicit applications on a priority basis from those which had previously been denied before the law was changed. In the meantime, the Division would contact HUD to determine whether priority could be given for a short time ho mobile home parks in generag, duo to their previous exclusion from the program. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the Anaheim Housing Authority, Mrs. Kaywood moved to adjourn. Mr. Roth seconded the _ motion. MOTION CARRIED.
