Chairman Seymour called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing
Authority to order.
MINUTES: On motion by Mr. Roth, seconded by Mr. Overholt, the
Anaheim-Housing Authority approved minutes of regular meetings held
May 23 and May 30, 1978. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount
of $3,743.60 in accordance with the 1977-78 Budget were approved.
177: PROPOSED BUDGET FOR ADDITIONAL 404 UNITS OF SECTION 8 HOUSING:
The proposed budget to be submitted to the Housing and Urban Develop-
ment Department for an additional 404 units of Section 8 "existing"
housing prepared by the Housing and Neighborhood Preservation
Section was submitted by the Executive Director.
In addition, Mr. Priest explained that this budget document is the
first in a series of steps toward final attainment of these addi~
tional units. The Executive Director's report advised that the budget
had been submitted to the Housing Commission at their regular meeting
held June 7, 1978, and they unanimously approved same and recommended
approval by the Housing Authority.
On motion by Mrs. Kaywood, seconded by Mr. Overholt, the Budget for an
additional 404 units of Section 8 "existing" housing was approved as
submitted. MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before qhe
Anaheim HouSing Authority, Mr. Xott moved to adjourn. Mr. Seymour
seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
