A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE
ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING A
PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, AND
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO REDEVELOP THE REAL
PROPERTY CONNECTED THEREWITH
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Transportation, ( "Caltrans ") has several
parcels of excess property resulting from the completion of the widening of Interstate 5 in the
City of Anaheim (each, a "Remnant Parcel "); and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency ") desires to acquire that certain
approximately twenty -eight thousand seven hundred (28,700) square foot Remnant Parcel
generally located at the southwest corner of Orangewood and Manchester (the "Property "); and
WHEREAS, the Agency intends to redevelop the Property as an affordable housing project for
persons and families of low or moderate income, as such term is defined in California Health and
Safety Code Section 50093, (the "Proposed Use "); and
WHEREAS, Caltrans is willing to sell the Property to the Agency for the Proposed Use upon the
terms and conditions set forth in that certain Purchase and Sale Agreement - Real Property - DD-
000071 -01 -01 by and between Caltrans and Agency (the "Purchase and Sale Agreement ").
NOW, THEREFORE, THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE ANAHEIM
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval of Purchase and Sale Agreement. The Purchase and Sale Agreement
is hereby approved and the Executive Director of the Agency is hereby directed to execute and
administer the Purchase and Sale Agreement on behalf of the Agency.
Section 2. Intention to Develop the Proposed Use. The Agency hereby declares its
intention to redevelop the Property with the Proposed Use.

GOVERNING BOARD OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY THIS
TWENTY- FOURTH (24TH) DAY OF AUGUST, 2004, BY THE FOLLOWING ROLE
