Slaughter NEIGHBORHOOD PRESERVATION MANAGER: Lisa Stipkovich Chairman Seymour called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority to order at 1:17 P.M. MINUTES: On motion by Mrs. Kaywood, seconded by Mr. Overholt, minutes of the regular meeting held March 6, 1979, were approved. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of $2,996.73, in accordance with the 1978-79 Budget, were approved. 177: MONTHLY STATUS REPORT - FEBRARY~ 1979: On motion by Mr. Kott, seconded by Mr. Roth, the monthly status report covering Housing activities for the month of February 1979, was ordered received and filed. MOTION CARRIED. 177.123: AGREEMENT WITH WESTLANDS BANK - COMPUTER SERVICES: Mr. Priest reported on proposed agreement with Westlands Bank to provide computer services for the issuance of Housing Assistance Payment (H.A.P.) checks and maintenance of statistical data required by HUD for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program. Discussion was held, and Authority Member Kaywood expressed concern that there was no indemnification provision contained in the pro- posed agreement to hold the City harmless from all damage, loss liability, costs, expenses or attorneys' fees which might be sus- tained or incurred as a consequence of any claim made against the Authority as result of the Authority acting on any erroneous information furnished by the bank. Deputy City Attorney Malcolm E. Slaughter stated that he would have no objection to adding such a provision to the agreement. 79-14 Anaheim Housing Authority, March 13~ 1979~ 1:00 P.M. In reply to question by Authority Member Seymour, Mr. Priest reported that the staff had held discussions with representatives of several banks and with the City's Data Processing Division for comparison purposes, and after careful analysis, Westlands Bank appeared to offer the most efficient and least costly computer services. At the conclusion of the discussion, Mrs. Kaywood offered Resolu- tion No. AHA79-3 for adoption, approving the terms and conditions of an agreement with Westlands Bank subject to the inclusion in said agreement of an indemnification provision holding the City harmless. Refer to Resolution Book. RESOLUTION NO. AHA79-3: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH WESTLANDS BANK AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN AND SECRETARY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
