The City Clerk submitted affidavit of publication of said Ordinance No. 855 and affidavits of posting notices along the lines of said easement of proposed abandonment. No written protests were filed with the City Clerk and no one present at the meeting objected to the proposed abandonment, thereupon the Mayor declared the hearing closed. Palm St. and Ball Rd. be reclassified from R-A to C-2 to permit the erection of a motel and store unit. C.P.C. Res. 5 recommended the reclassification subject to the deeding of a 20 foot strip to the City of Anaheim for the future widening of Ball Road. After discussion of proposed rezoning, Councilman Van Wagoner moved the rezoning only apply to the North parcel and Southwest parcel of the three parcels involved, and thereupon offered RESOLUTION NO. 2935 and moved for i~s passage and adoption. C.P.C. Res. 7 recommends changes of zones as outlined. Discussion was held upon proposed changes and explanation of the P-L zoning was made. Councilman Wisser moved to continue the Hearinq until the Ordinance creating the P-L Zone becomes effective. Councilman Van Wagoner seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
