ORDINANCE NO. 875: The City Planning Commission, under its Resolution No. 30, recommended addition to the ,Anaheim Municipal Code to better cen%rol non-conforming uses, established by the County of Orange on land that may be subsequently annexed to the City. Ordinance No. 875 was introduced by Councilman Wisser who moved for its passage and adoption. Said Ordinance was read in public for the first time in full. ........ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF .ANAHEIM .AMENDING .ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2~ SECTION 9200.14 OF THE AN~EIM N~3NICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THEq~ETO A NHW SUBDIVISION TO BE DESIGNAIED AS SIDEWALKS: R~ COONS & PAUL COOK representing the Anaheim City School District addressed the Council, commendin9 the City on its Ordinance that sidewalEs and curbs be installed in all new subdivisions~ and stated that they would lend full support to a program wherein ~ethods could be worked out to install sidewatks~and cur~bs in settled parts of the city where .there are~now severe traffic hazards fo~ pede~rian~.:. ~ _ Letter was submitted and read by Mr. Coons calling attention to locations where there is a lack of sidemalks~ and where no sidewalks exist expeciall~ in approaches to elementary schools. Particular references was. given in the letter of 19cat, on$ requiring atten%ion~ all of which were fully discussed by the members of the Council with the S6hool representatives tion.
