SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE WAIVER NO. 99-01 APPROVED APPLICANT: Susan Lundgren 3472 Monfair Avenue Long Beach, CA 90808 LOCATION: 1501 - 1551 South Douglass Road: Request approval of a special circumstance waiver to permit aone-day autolbus show (no vehicle sales proposed) within an existing parking lot in the ML Zone, on June 12, 1999. REMARKS: Selma Mann, Deputy City Attorney stated that the Applicant needs to comply with State Law regarding any raffles. Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator stated that she would approve Special Circumstance Waiver No. 99-01. Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator approved Special Circumstance Waiver No. 99-01 to permit aone-day special event permit from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 12, 1999. Johnny Jimenez, Public Relations/for the event, 23515 Shadowcrest Place, Diamond Bar, CA 91765 (909-396-9706), representative was present at the meeting and stated that there is a $5.00 entrance fee (to cover event costs) and approximately 800 spectators are anticipated. A raffle is proposed with a portion (25%) of the proceeds being donated to a charitable organization/women's shelter and the remaining will go to cover event expenses. Lincoln Avenue Anaheim, CA 92803 LOCATION: 1600 West Lincoln Avenue: Request approval of a special circumstance waiver to permit banners mounted on light poles for a period of six (6) months in conjunction with an existing automobile sales facility. REMARKS: Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator approved Special Circumstance Waiver No. 99-02 as requested for six (6) months to be dated for the following Monday of (June 14, 1999 to December 14, 1999). Hilda Street Anaheim, CA 92806 LOCATION: 1003 South Hilda Street. Property is approximately 0.18 acre located at the southwest corner of Maverick Avenue and Hilda Street. Waiver of maximum fence height (3-ft. high wall permitted; 4- to 6- ft. high wall proposed) to construct a 4- to 6-foot high block wall on the sideyard (facing Maverick Avenue) of a reverse-corner property developed with an existing single-family residence. ZONING ADMINISTRATOR DECISION NO. ZA99-19 Appeal period ends June 2, 1999 at 5:00 p.m. REMARKS: Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator stated that the Administrative Adjustment No. 164 be continued due to a letter of opposition recieved and therefore will be scheduled for a public hearing. The letter of opposition was submitted by Paul Giordano, 2531 E. Maverick Avenue, Anaheim 92806-5046, and did not include a phone number.
