Resolution-ZA 1988-08• • CITY OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA Planning Department ZONING ADMINISTRATOR DECISION N0. 88-08 March 17, 1988 Gloria and Larry Clemens 1593 West Cerritos Anaheim, California 92802 RE: Notice of Decision Large Family Day Care Home Permit No. 88-02 Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Administrator for the City of Anaheim has approved the above referenced permit application for a large family day care home involving a maximum of 12 children located at 1593 West Cerritos, Anaheim, California, and subject to provision of an on-site vehicle turn-around area on the property. The authority and criteria for the approval of the large family day care home permit is in Section 1597.46 of the California Health and Safety Codes and Section 18.04.140 of the Anaheim Municipal Code. According to Sectian 1597.46 the City shall issue a non-discretionary permit if the large family day care standards set forth are met. These standards have been adopted by the City of Anaheim and are set forth in Ordinance 18.04.140. The approval of the permit is based upon the following findings of fact: 1. The use and building comply with the applicable site development standards of the zone in which the property is located. 2. The use complies with all of the criteria and standards established for such use pursuant to Section 1597.46 of the California Health and Safety Codes and to the applicable provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code. 3. That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim marked Exhibit No. 1, provided, however, that within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of this decision, an on-site vehicle turn-around area shall be provided for off-street passenger loading and unloading. Said area shall be set back a minimum of ten (10) feet from the front property line and shall consist of a minimum twenty (20) foot wide by nineteen (19) foot deep area with a minimum twenty five (25) foot back up space, which space may include the existing driveway, as shown in red on the approved Exhibit No. 1. Said turn-around area shall be either paved or graveled to .prevent dust. Alternatively, the applicant may provide a paved or graveled loop driveway to Cerritos Avenue. 200 South Anaheim Boulevard P. That approval of this application constitutes approval of the proposed request only tot he extent that it complies with the Anaheim Municipal Zoning Code and any other applicable City regulations. Approval does not include any action or findings as to compliance or approval of the request regarding any other applicable ordinance, regulation or requirement. Any person aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Administrator may appeal such decision to the City Council, tendering the applicable appeal fee to the City Clerk's Office-within twenty-two days following the date of this decision. Said permit shall not be deemed final, and permittee shall not be authorized to engage in the use granted by said permit, until the expiration of said twenty-two day appeal. period.
