ADMINISTRATIVE USE PERMIT NO. 91-03 - NOTICE OF DECISION
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Administrator for the City of Anaheim has APPROVED the above
referenced permit application for a large family day care home for a maximum of twelve (12) children on property
located at 3635 Bouquet Avenue, Anaheim, .California.
The authority and criteria for approval of this permit is in Section 1597.46 of the California Health and Safety
Codes and Section 18.04.140 of the Anaheim Municipal Code. According to Section 1597.46, the City shall issue a
non-discretionary permit if the large family day care standards set forth are met. These standards have been
adopted by the City of Anaheim and are set forth in Anaheim Municipal Code Sections 18.01.070 and 18.04.140.
Approval of this permit is based upon the following findings of fact:
1. A public hearing was conducted on May 2, 1991 pursuant to the procedures set forth in Section 18.04.140
and Chapter 18.10 of the Anaheim Municipal Code;
2. One letter in support of the proposal was received, 3 people spoke in opposition to the proposal at the
public hearing and a petition containing 40 signatures in opposition. to the proposal was received;
3. The use complies with all of the criteria and standards established for such use pursuant to Section 1597.46
of the -California .Health and Safety Codes and to the applicable provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code;
4. The use and building comply with the applicable site development standards of the RS-7200 'Residential,
Single Family" Zone in which the property is located;
5. Off-street parking space is available on subject property for each employee or worker; and
6. Pursuant to the criteria and standards set forth in Section 18.04.140 of the Anaheim Municipal Code:
a. The use shall be limited to between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M.;
b. All children shall be kept inside the home before 8:00 A.M. each day; and
c. A business license from the City of Anaheim. shall be obtained and .maintained.
Any person aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Administrator may appeal such decision to the City Council,
tendering the applicable appeal fee to the City Clerk's Office within twenty-two (22) days following the date of this
decision. Said permit shall not be deemed final, and permittee shall not be authorized to engage in the use
granted by said permit, until the expiration of said twenty-two (22) day appeal period.
