Khandaker 202 South Ash Street Anaheim, CA 92805 OWNERS: Amirul and Kamrun Islam 202 South Ash Street Anaheim, CA 92805 LOCATION: 202 South Ash Street CEQA STATUS: CEQA Exempt, Sedion 15061(b)(3) DATE NOTICES MAILED: December 30, 1999 REQUEST: Waiver of the following to construd a 385 sq. ft. rear addition to an existing single-family residence in the RS-7200 (Residential, Single-Family) zone: Sedions 18.12.080.010.0103 - Minimum side vans setback. and 18.26.063.020 5( feet required from the south property line; 4 feet. 6 inches proposed) DETERMINATION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR Having been appointed Zoning Administrator by the Planning Diredor to decide the above-referenced Administrative Adjustment, and subjed petition having been duly noticed and no written objections having been received, I do hereby find, pursuant to Sedion 18.12.080: That the request is hereby granted in accordance with Subsection 18.12.080.010.0103 of the Anaheim Municipal Code which permits waiver of minimum side yarti setbacks in connection with administrative adjustments when the maximum deviation is no more than 20% from the Zoning Code requirement (10% proposed); and that the proposed setback for the addition matches the existing setback for the dwelling. 2. That no written opposition was received during the required 10-day notification period which ended on December 30, 1999. CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT FINDINGS: That the Planning Diredor or his authorized representative has determined that the proposed projed is Categorically Exempt, Class 15061(b)(3), as defined in the State of California Environmental Quality Ad Guidelines and is, therefore, categorically exempt from the requirement to prepare an Environmental Impad Report. Based on the evidence presented to me, I do hereby determine to grant Administrative Adjustment No. 184, subjed to the following conditions: 1. That within a period of one (1) year from the date of this decision, subjed property shall be developed substantially in accondance with plans and specifications submitted to the City of Anaheim by the petitioner and which plans are on file with the Planning Department marked Exhibit Nos. 1 and 2. That approval of this application constitutes approval of the proposed request only to the extent that it complies with the Anaheim Munidpal Zoning Code and any other applicable City, State and Federal regulations. Krebs, CMP 700 West Convention Way Anaheim, CA 92802-3483 Re: SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE WAIVER NO. 2000-01 -APPROVED On January 27, 2000, Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator, considered your request for Special Circumstances Waiver No. 2000-01 to permit eight (8) additional special events to be conducted at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel at 700 West Convention Way, for a total of twelve (12) Special Event Permits for outdoor conferences and/or convention-related activities during the calendar year 2000. She approved the request based on the following findings: That the approval of special circumstance waivers is authorized by Subsection 18.02.055.080 "Zoning Administrator Review (of Special Events Permits)" of the Anaheim Municipal Code. 2. That the letter requesting this special circumstances waiver and describing the proposal was submitted on January 4, 2000. 3. Four Special Event Permits (the maximum allowed by Code) have already been issued this year to permit a temporary tent, which is used for conference/convention-related activities from January 12, 2000 through February 16, 2000. 4. The proposed eight additional Special Event Permits will allow the continued use of the tent through April 28, 2000. 5. That the tent and the surrounding area will be well maintained at all times. This decision shall become final unless an appeal to the City Council, in writing, accompanied by an appeal fee, is filed with the City Clerk within ten (10) days of the date of this letter or unless member of the City Council requests review of this decision within said 10 days.
