CEQA STATUS: Categorically Exempt, Class 3 DATE NOTICES MAILED: March 27, 2000 REQUEST: Waiver of the following to construct two 48-inch high gate arms across two parking lot driveways in the setback area along the north side of Cerritos Avenue: Sections 18.12.080.0151 - Maximum permitted height for parking fot gate 18.78.050.090.0907 arms. and 18.78.080.050.0501 (36 inches permitted for gate arms located in the 20-foot setback along Cerritos Avenue; 48 inches proposed for two gate arms located two feet from Cerritos Avenue) DETERMINATION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR Having been appointed Zoning Administrator by the Planning Director to decide the above-referenced Administrative Adjustment, and subject petition having been duly noticed and no written objections having been received, I do hereby find, pursuant to Section 18.12.080: 1. That the proposed gate arms are for two driveways to a parking lot (the Disneyland Resort SP-4 Parking Lot) located in Development Area 3a "Parking District" of the Disneyland Resort Specific Plan No. 92-1, and on the north side of Cerritos Avenue (future "Magic Way") between Walnut Street and West Street (future "Disneyland Drive"). 2. That the request is hereby granted in accordance with Subsection 18.12.080 of the Anaheim Municipal Code which permits waivers of maximum fence height in required setback areas in connection with administrative adjustments. 3. That no written opposition was received during the required 10-day notification period, which ended on April 6, 2000; Adj-191.doc - 1 of 2 - ZA 2000-15 ~ ~ Based on the evidence presented to me, I do hereby determine to grant Administrative Adjustment No. 2000-0019, subject to the following conditions: 1. That within a period of one (1) year from the date of this decision, subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and specifications submitted to the City of Anaheim by the petitioner and which plans are on file with the Planning Department marked Exhibit No. 1. Extensions for further time to complete this condition may be granted in accordance with Section 18.03.090 of the Anaheim Municipal Code. 2. That approval of this application constitutes approval of the proposed request only to the extent that it complies with the Anaheim Municipal Zoning Code and any other applicable City, State and Federal regulations. Approval does not include any action or findings as to compliance or approval of the request regarding any other applicable ordinance, regulation or requirement.
