CITY ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, KEITH Ad ~JRDOCH: Present° ANNEXATION: The City Plannigg Commission's recommendation to the City ouncil that the proposed Ball~Dale An, exation with the revised boundaries be considered for annexation to the City ~f Anaheim was submitted and read. Mr. Maxwell~ one of the proponents in the pending West Anaheim Annexa= tion No 2, addressed the Council requesting information relative to the proposed Ball-Da;e Annexation~ and a thorough d~scussion of the matter was heldo RESOLUTION NO. 3173~ Councilman Wiss~l~ offered Resolution No. 3173 and moved for its passag~ and adoption° Refer to Resolution Book, pag~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCE~ MENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION iOF INHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. The Mayor declared the foregoing resolution duly passed and adopted, OFF-STREET PARKING LOTS~_ DiScussion was held regarding of£-street parktn9 lots with reference to an assessment district to acquire and improve additional lots for parking purposes. A joint meeting with a committee, of property owners, the City Engineer, and the Adminlstrative Officer was suggested so that a recommenda- tion can be made to the City Council. RABIES CON/ROL PRfX3RAMI communication from the State of California Department of Public Health was submitted and read, confirming the verbal acceptance by the representatives of that department on February 9, 1956 of the Anaheim Rabies Control Program as a substitute for the area-rabies'quarantine. It was pointed out that the effectiveness of this program depends on the enforcement' and that the program is subject to periodic review.
