City Attorney, Turner proceeded with discussion and clarification of the
Public Resources Code, Chapter 5, Section 7051 through 7057.
The City Attorney's recommendation was to follow procedure prescribed by
law. and as outlined by it in proposed Resolutions Nos. 1900 and 1901.
Mr. Shafer, Attorney for Steele Petroleum Co. also addressed the Council and
further assisted clarifying differences of opinions which had arisen.
Councilman Heying offered Resolution No. 1900 and moved for its
passage and adoption. Councilman Boney seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.

CEHTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY. AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID LEASE FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM."

The Mayor declared the foregoing Resolution duly passed a.nd adopted.
Councilman Van Wagoner offered Resolution No. 1901 and moved
for its passage and adoption. Councilman Wisser seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
