Murdoch: Present. r-!INUTES: The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 26, 1952 and Adjourned Regular ~feeting held February 28, 1952 were approved on motion by Councilman Van Wagoner, seconded by Councilman Wisser. Councilman Boney moved that report of Finance Committee be accepted and that warrants be dra'Wll upon the Treasurer to pay eaid demands in accordance with report. Councilman Heying seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL & OPERATING REPORTS: For ~he month of February, 1952 were approved on motion by Councilman Heying, seconded by Councilman Boney. FOLlCE DEPARTMENT: Activities PARKING METERS: Collections, $1700.00. BUILDING DEPARTMENT: 100 permits issued, of which 42 were Building Permits with valuation of $239,430.00 -Fees collected, $749.00. LICENSE COLLECTOR: Collected $421.15 on business and dog licenses issued. LIBRARY: Balance March 4, 1952: $17,616.90. CITY ELECTRICIAN: Collected $20J.55on Light Wiring and Power Wiring permits. VETERANS' HOUSING: Deposited with T>>easurer, $378.60. CITY AUDITOR: J .O.S. report, $2,959.00 - of which Anaheim paid $973.36. CITY AUDITOR: Magnolia Trunk Sewer, '$89,389.69, of which Anaheim paid $19,916.02. GARBAGE & TRASH COLLECTIONS: 84 tons of garbage, 25 loads and 253 loads of trash. PUBLIC HEARING: RESOLUTION NO. 1925: EUCLID AVENUE ANNEXATION NO.2: Publio Hearing pursuant to Resolution No. 1925 on the proposed Euclid Avenue Annexation No. 2 was held. No objections were filed with the City Clerk, and no one was present objeoting to the proceedings. The Mayor declared the Hearing adj ourned. COMMUNICATION: Officer, Earl F. ViJX>~d presenting his resignation from the Anaheim Police Department, effective March 31, 1952 was accepted, and the Clerk was in- structed to write a letter stating the city's regrets in loosing his services on motion by Councilman Van Wagoner, seconded by Councilman Heying. MarrON CARRIED. AGREEMENT: On motion by C01.Ulcilman Haying, seconded by Councilman Boney, the Mayor and City Clerk were authorized to sign Extension Rider to agreement dated November .30, 1951, covering instaJ.lation of pover conductors on Edison Company's poles, and warrant in the amount of $5.00, as per agreement, was authorized. MOTION CARRIED. AGREEMENT: For installation and removal of electric distribution facilities for supplying electrical energy for power and lighting service, as between the Daystrom Inc. and the City of Anaheim was approved, and the }tfayor and City Clerk were authorized to sign the same for the C~ty of Anaheim on motion by Councilman Wisser, seconded by Councilman Van Wagoner. Blue prints showing elevation and proposed type of structure was sub- mitted at the meeting. Mr. Frank L. }$Artin was present a"t the meeting. Pictures 'Were su1:mitted of the Long Beach property operated by the Atlantic Supply Company. Petition was presented at the meeting containing 21 signatures to require building to be construc"ted in conformity with other business buildings in the locality. > It was brought out, that more improvement and alterations should be made to the building, the s:tandards of the proposed building to conform with that of other buildings in the area, and that all materials should be enclosed within the building. CALL FOR GASOLINE BIDS: The Clerk was instructed to call for informal bid quotations on the city's gasoline requirements for the year cOImnencing April 1, 1952; bids to be submitted 8:00 P.M., March 25, 1952. CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES: The Clerk was instructed to proceed with the codification of ordinances. CLAIM FOR DAMAGE: VANCE 'W1}1MER TRENT" 901 North Zeyn Street, for a1.leged damage to property in the amount of $600.00, as per letter of March 7, 1952. Councilman Van Wagoner moved that claim for damage, as presented by Vance Wimmer Trent be denied. Councillnan Wisser seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
