RESOLUTION NO. 69R 756
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
EASEMENT DEED AND OF THE ROAD AGREEMENT IN
CONNECTION THEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange desires the dedication
by the City of Anaheim of the ultimate right of way for Lakeview
Avenue in the immediate vicinity of its intersection with
La Palma Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has agreed to improve
Lakeview Avenue in the aforementioned area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim to execute the
easement deed requested and to execute the road agreement in
connection therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheill that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute that certain
easement deed for street and highway purposes in favor of the
County of Orange covering the following described property:
That portion of the third class land allotted to F. Yorba
as described in the Final Decree of Partition of the Rancho
Canon de Santa Ana, a certified copy of which was recorded
February 8, 1874, in Book 28, page 158 of Deeds, Records
of Los Angeles County, California, as described in a deed
recorded in Book 8892, page 477, Official Records of
Orange County, California, which lies Westerly of a line
parallel and/or concentric with and 53.00 feet Easterly
from the following described line:
Beginning at the center line intersection of La Palma
Avenue and Lakeview Avenue (formerly Taylor Street) as
said intersection is shown on a map filed in Book 16, page
42 of Parcel Maps, Records of said Orange County; thence
S. 00 27' 00" E. along said center line of Lakeview Avenue,
164.38 feet to a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and
having a radius of 1800.00 feet; thence Southeasterly
along said curve through a central angle of 210 07' 26" an
arc distance of 663.63 feet.
All as more particularly shown on the map attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
BE IT FUR~HER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
that certain road agreement covering the improvement of Lakeview
Avenue in the area included within the easement deed.
