RESOLUTION NO. 69R-747
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 117
(BLUE GUM STREET, MIRALOMA AVENUE TO LA JOLLA
STREE'I') .
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment
to the Circulation Element Highway Rights-of--Way on the General
Plan changing the classification of Blue Gum Street, from Mira-
loma Avenue to La Jolla Street from a Secondary Highway to a
Primary Highway; and at said hearing did receive evidence and
reports from persons interested therein, and
WHEREAS, following said hearing the Planning Commis-
sion did duly adopt Resolution PC 69-239 containing a report
of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said
hearing, and a recommendation that said amendment to the
General Plan, designated as Amendment No. 117 be adopted by
the City Council changing the classification of Blue Gum
Street from Miralorna Avenue to La Jolla Street from a Secondary
Highway to a Primary Highway in accordance with Exhibit HAil;
and
\~EREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 30th day of
December, 1969, as the time and the City Council Chamber in
the City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed Amendment No. 117 to the General
Plan and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided
by law; and
~VHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing, and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports
and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Amendment No. 117 to the General Plan, changing the
classification of Blue Gum Street, from Miraloma Avenue to
La Jolla Street from a Secondary Highway to a Primary Highway
should be approved in accordance with Exhibit "All as recom-
mended by the City Planning Comnlission.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim ti1at Amendment No. 117 to the General
Plan amending the Circulation Element, Highway Rights-of-Way

Highway to a Primary Highway in accordance with Exhibit hAil
be, and the same is hereby approveQ.
BE I'l' FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be, and it is hereby instructed to amend the General Plan Map
to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 117 herein approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
