RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 737
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED AND
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim required the dedication
of the ultimate ri,ht of way for Euclid Street as set forth in
the easement deed towards which this resolution is directed; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the real property involved have
tendered an easememt deed covering said ultimate right of way
for a total consideration of $1,982.03; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the
best interests of the City to make such payment and accept such
deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it accept and it does hereby accept that
certain easement deed dated September 12, 1969 covering the
following described property:
An easement f~r road and public utility purposes over,
under and acr~ss that portion of the northwest quarter
of the northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Mis-
cellaneous Ma,s, records of said county, described as
follows;
Beginning at the northwest corner of the South 22 acres of
said northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section
9, as the North line of said South 22 acres is shown on the
map of Tract No. 2161 recorded in Book 63, pages 33 et seq.
of said Miscellaneous Maps; thence South 890 53' 37" East
to a point in a line parallel with and distant Easterly
53 feet (measured at right angles) from the West line of
said section; thence along said parallel line South O. 03'
38" West, 30.00 feet, more or less, to a point in the
South line of the land described in "Parcel 2" in the deed
to Arnold Holden et al. recorded December 29, 1967 in Book
8480, page 442 of Official Records of said County; thence
along said South line, North 890 53' 37" West to a point
in a line parallel with and distant Easterly 47 feet
(measured at right angles) from said West line of Section 9;
thence along last said parallel line, South 00 03' 38" West,
74.95 feet, more or less, to a point in the South line of
the land described in "Parcell" of said deed to Holden;
thence along last said South line, North 890 45' 22" West
to a point in said West line of Section 9; thence along
said West line, North 00 03' 38" East, 104.96 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she
is hereby authorized and directed to cause said easement deed to
be recorded.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director
be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to draw a warrant
in the amount of $1,979.83 payable to Arnold Holden, Marshall
Holden and William C. Davidson - said warrant to be mailed to
them clo Davidson, Caves & Company, 110 South Euclid Avenue,

Pasadena, California 91101, and to draw a warrant in the amount
of $2.20 payable to J. Wylie Carlyle, County Recorder, said
latter warrant to be delivered to the Right of Way Division for
transmittal; each of said warrants are to be charged to Work
Order 1085 b & c.
