RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 729

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DIRECTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS TO ISSUE AN INTERDEPARTMENTAL PUR-
CHASE ORDER FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE STREET
LIGHTING SYSTEM OF STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT 1969-1.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim operates a public
utility capable of furnishing maintenance and energy for
street lights; and
WHEREAS, the Street Lighting Act of 1931 auth-
orizes the City Council to direct the Superintendent of
Streets to issue an interdepartmental ~urohase order for
the improvement of the street lighting system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Superintendent of Streets is
hereby directed to issue an interdepartmental purchase order.
for the improvement of Street Lighting Maintenance District
1969-1 for each year during the existence of the Maintenance
District.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 23rd day of December 1969.
