RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 709
A RESOLU~ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAIlE M APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF AHEIM AND SAM ANDREWS' SONS AND
AUTHORIZ NG THE MAYOR AND CiTY CLERIC TO EXE-
CUTE SAI~ AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, ion December 26, 1967, the City of Anaheim,
by letter, gave S~ Andrews' Sons certain rights pertaining to
the scoreboard at Anaheim Stadium; and
WHEREAS, Sam Andrews' Sons did attempt to register
a composite mark, ~ontaining a mark and other representations
by an application ~erial No. 314,130, which was opposed by
the City in Opposi~ion No. 49,695; and
WHEREAS, ,the parties desire to settle said opposition
and to re-define their position with respect to one another.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahe~ that it approves the terms and conditions
of an Agreement be~ween the City and Sam Andrews" Sons which is
dated November 1, 1969.
BE IT FU~THER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to ~xecutl said Agreement on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
