RESOLUTION NO. 69R-645
-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS BEEN
MADE IN THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXA-
TION OF CERTAIN DNINHABITED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM KNOWN AND DESIG-
NATED AS COLCHESTER-BALL ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 11th day of September , 19~, receive a written
petition asking that ,certain territory described in said peti-
tion be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution No.
69R-553 , designating the said proposed annexation as
Co1chester-~11 Annexation and
WHEREAS, the City Council did fix the 28th day of
Oc~pper , 19~, at the hour of 1:30 P.M., at the City
Counc11 Chamber inn-Ene City Hall of the City of Anaheim, as the
day, hour and place when and where the City Council would hear
protests made by the owner or owners of any real property within
the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published by the
City Clerk in accordance wi~h the requirements of law; and
WHEREAS, said he~~ng on protests was held on the 12th
day of NQu9m1;)er ' 19-6.9-' and on said date said hearing was
closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
does find and declare that a majority protest was made
at said hearing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
