A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 63R-9l0 AND AMENDING PERSONNEL
RULE NO.8 EMPLOYMENT LISTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
that Personnel Rule No. 8 Employment Lists is hereby amended to read
as follows:
RULE 8. EMPLOYMENT LISTS
Section 8'; 0 Employmen~ lists, tri order of their priority, shall be re-
employment lists and elIgibility lists.
Section 8.1 Re-employment lists shall contain the names of regular,
full-time employees laid off in good standing for lack of funds or work.
8.11 Names on re-employment lists shall remain for a period
not to exceed one (1) year.
Section 8.2 Eligibility lists shall be created in accordance with the
provisions of RULE 7.
8.21 Eligibility lists may contain the names of one or more
persons eligible for employment.
8.22 Open competitive eligibility lists shall remain in effect
for a period of one year or until depleted. Eligibility
lists containing less than three (3) names may be consi-
dered depleted. Eligibility lists may be extended by the
Personnel Director for a period not to exceed one (1)
additional year.
8.23 Promotional eligibility lists shall remain in effect
for a period of two years or until depleted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this
Resolution shall be October 10, 1969.
