RESOLUTION 69R- 617
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A SPECIAL
ADMINISTRATOR'S CONVEYANCE AND AUTHORIZING
THAT PAYMENT MAY BE MADE THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, HERETOFORE, ON OR ABOUT the 17th day of
September, 1969, the City of Anaheim entered into an escrow
at Anaheim Main Branch, #209, of the Bank of America, to
purchase approximately 9.68 acres from the Henry Wagner
estate on State College Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, a total consideration of $338,800 was
agreed upon; and
WHEREAS, a balance is now due of $335,300; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in receipt of a
special administrator's conveyance which has been issued in
accordance with the Order of the Superior Court of the State
of California for the County of Orange confirming the pur-
chase by the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
having heretofore approved said transactions, now desires to
accept said deed and make said payment as being in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it accept, and it does hereby
accept, the special administrator's conveyance deeding to
the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situate at 975 South State COllege Boulevard, Anaheim,
California and more particularly described as:
Improved real property situate in the County of
Orange, State of California, and more particularly
described as:
That portion of Lot 18 of Anaheim Extension of the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as shown on a map of survey made by William Hamel and
filed in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, a copy of which is shown
in Book 3, Page 163 et seg., entitled "Los Angeles
County Naps" in the office of the County Recorder
of said Orange County described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said lot, thence
North 376.40 feet along the East line of said lot
to the Southeast corner of the land described in
the deed to the City of Anaheim recorded in Book
124 page 373 of Deeds of said Orange County; thence
South 740 30' 00" West 1238.16 feet along the
Southerly line of said land to the Westerly line
of said lot; thence South 150 30' 00" East 363.00
feet to the Southwest corner of said lot; thence North
740 30' 0011 East 1137.18 feet to the point of beginning.
Said land is shown on a map filed in Book 67
Page 9 of Record of Surveys in the office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby, ordered and directed to draw a City warrant
in favor of "Bank of America National Trust & Savings
Association, Trustee" in the amount of $335,300, and that
said warrant be delivered to the Office of the City Attorney
for transmittal to trust department of said Bank of America.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director
be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to transfer the
sum of $135,300 from the capital outlay account to the Parks
Department Account No. lOO-62l and that the entire sum of
$335,300 be charged against Account No. lOO-62l.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 28th day of October 1969.
