A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM INFORMING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AGENCY OF CERTAIN
CHANGES IN THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF ARTERIAL
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS ON THE GENERAL PLAN, AND
REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO ADOPT SAID
CHANGES INTO THE COUNTY ARTERIAL HIGHWAY
MASTER PLAN.
WHEREAS, certain changes or amendments have been made
during the year 1979 -1980 to the circulation element of Arterial
Streets and Highways on the General Plan, as more particularly
hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City's Master Plan of Arterial Highways
(MPAH) is in conformance with the County's MPAH; and
WHEREAS, the City has adopted a setback ordinance to
protect ultimate arterial highway right of way; and
WHEREAS, the City has adopted provisions for the limita-
tion of access to the arterial highway system in order to protect
the integrity of the system; and
WHEREAS, in order to participate in the Arterial High-
way Financing Program of the County of Orange, it is necessary
that the Advisory Committee of the Orange County Environmental
Management Agency be advised of any changes in the Circulation
Element of Arterial Streets and Highways on the General Plan, and
be requested to adopt said changes into the County Arterial Highway
Master Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the County of Orange be informed, and
it is hereby informed, that the following changes or amendments
have been made in the Circulation Element of Arterial Streets and
Highways on the General Plan of the City of Anaheim and the County
of Orange is hereby requested to adopt said changes into the County
Arterial Highway Master Plan and make them eligible for inclusion
in the Arterial Highway Financing Program. Said changes or amend-
ments to the Circulation Element of Arterial Streets and Highways
on the Master Plan are as follows:

to Riverside Freeway
Freedman Way - Harbor Boulevard Secondary
to Manchester Avenue
Clementine Street - Freedman Way Secondary
to Ratella Avenue
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of the
resolutions adopting said amendments to the General Plan be for-
warded to the County of Orange Environmental Management Agency.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 26th day of August, 1980.
