A RESULW:'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUC-
TION AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO
WIT:
CANYON HILLS LIBRARY, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
ACCOUNT NOS. 47-904-6325 AND 24-904-6325.
APPROVING THE DESIGNS, PLANS, PROFILES, DRAWINGS
AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF;
AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID PLANS, SPECI-
FICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
construction and completion of a public improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit:
Canyon Hills Library, in the City of Anaheim, consisting
of the construction of a new 18,000 square foot single
story library, including excavation, concrete, masonry,
carpentry, roofing, doors, hardware, miscellaneous metal,
glass, finishes, weatherproofing, mechancial and electrical,
site improvements (parking lot, slab on grade, landscaping,
etc.) shall be completed as shown on the plans and delineated
in the specifications; contractor shall provide, install,
perform and pay for all work, labor, material, equipment,
transportation charges, taxes and all appurtenant items
necessary to complete the project in strict accordance
with the plans and specifications on file in the office
of the City Engineer, Account Nos. 47-904-6325 & 24-904-6325.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council instructed the
Public Works Department to prepare detailed designs, plans,
profiles, drawings and specifications, and estimates of
quantities and costs and make necessary surveys for the construc-
tion of said public improvement; and
