RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 594
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: an easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City, upon the following terms
and conditions:
1. Exchange a portion of Lot A of Tract No. 4533
adjacent to and north of the property. Pay
grantor the sum of $210.00 for the grading of
said area.
2. Install full street improvements including
revamping a portion of grantor's driveway, to
conform with the street grade.
3. Crush and fill existing septic tank located in
front yard and connect house to sewer. This
connection can be made cheaper than constructing
a new septic tank, and will be accomplished at no
cost to grantor.
4. Pay grantor the sum of $500.00 for the loss of six
(6) trees located within the future right of way.
5. Construct retaining wall of red brick to maintain a
level lawn. Brick to match existing red brick in
planter box.
6. Pay grantor the sum of $150.00 for revamping exist-
ing sprinkler system to conform with new front yard
area.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property upon said
conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ROBERT J. GREATHEAD and DIANE
GREATHEAD, husband and wife, to sell ~o ~he city of Anaheim, upon
the hereinbefore mentioned terms and conditions, the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes, and more particularly described as
follows:

West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California.
Excepting therefrom the Southerly 20.00 feet lying within the
existing right of way of Wagner Avenue.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City a grant deed in favor of Robert J. Greathead and
Diane Greathead, of the Westerly 109 feet of Lot A of Tract No.
4533.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to pay to Robert J. Greathead and Diane Greathead, at
2227 Wagner Avenue, Anaheim, California, the sum of $860.00,
represented as follows: $210.00 for grading, $500.00 for loss
of six trees and $150.00 for revamping of existing sprinkler
system.
