69R-586 RESOLUTION NO 69R-586 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, WHEREAS, the City Plann.ing Commission of the City of Anaheim has heretofore, duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending denial of~.a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted such public hear- ing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and after having received evidence 8~d reports from persons interested therein; and WH~REAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by for- mal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the yeport and recommendation of the City Plan.ning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 21st day of . October , 19 69 , as the time and the Council Chamber in the City~Hall of the-crty of Anaheim as the place for a public heilring upon sOlid proposed change of zone or zones and did give not~ce thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and con.duct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor- tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as herein- after set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not be granted. NOW~ THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anahei.m, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows~ Lot 7 in Block 8 of The Golden State Tract, as shown on a map recorded in book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County. EXCEPTING THEREFROM an undivided one-half of all minerals, n;l ~~~_ ~~Dhaltum and other hydrocarbon substances in or EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of Lot 7, in Block 8 of the Golden State Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, as shown on a map recorded in book 4, page 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, included within the following described lines: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Anaheim Road, 40.00 feet wide, as shown on said map, with the center- line of Blue Gum Street, 40.00 feet wide, shown as an unn~med street adjoining said Block 8 on the East on said map; thence along said centerline of Blue Gum Street, North 150 58' 16" West 85.00 feet; thence South 740 01' 44" West 30.00 feet; thence South 210 09' 4411 West 43.92 feet; thence South 770 00' 2311 West 604.40 feet to the Westerly line of said Lot 7, thence along said Westerly line, and the South- erly prolongation thereof, South 150 58' 21" East, 81.57 feet to said centerline of An~~eim Road; thence along said centerline of Anaheim Road, North 740 00' 46" East, 660.10 feet to the point of beginning as condemned by the State of California by final decree of Condemnation recorded March 26, 1963 in book 6482, page 376, Official Records. ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM those portions thereof included within said Anaheim Road and said Blue Gum Street. remain in R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is now incorporated, and that the reclassification to R-3, MULTIPLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, be denied, as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
