RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 570
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT EMPLOYING
DAMES & MOORE TO PROVIDE GEOLOGICAL IN-
SPECTION AND CONSULTATION SERVICES IN
CONNECTION WITH THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE
SLOPE AT THE LENAIN FILTER PLANT IN THE
WALNUT CANYON RESERVOIR.
WHE~AS, the City of Anaheim is in need of geological
engineering inspection and consultation services in connection
with the reconstruction of the slope at the Lenain Filter Plant
at Walnut Canyon Reservoir; and
WHEREAS, Dames & Moore is qualified to render such
geological engineering inspection and consultation services and
desires to be employed for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, Dames & Moore have submitted a proposal for
said engineering services dated August 27, 1969, signed by Don
v. Roberts, the terms and conditions of which proposal, including
fees are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Dames & Moore be employed to provide
geological engineering and inspection and consultation services
in connection with the reconstruction of the slope at the Lenain
Filter Plant at Walnut Canyon Reservoir. Such services are to
De performed under Work Order No. 7002 as required by the City
of Anaheim and for consideration as more particularly set forth
ln the proposal letter of Dames & Moore dated August 27, 1969.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
7th day of October , 1969.
