RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 566
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT nF.F.n
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal pu~poses, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner _ of said property ha ---5- offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
BARCLAYS BANK OF CALIFORNIA. a Californi~ r.orpor~~;nn
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utilitv pu~pose~
, and more partlcularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lots 4 and 5 of Tract
No. 498, Berger-Half Acres, as per Map recorded in Book
19, page 24 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Katella Way,
formerly known as Katella Road, and Mountain View Avenue,
formerly an unnamed 60.00 foot wide street, as shown on
a Hap of said Tract 498; thence South 890 58' 10" West
along the centerline of said Katella Way 174.00 feet;
thence South 10 19' 20" East 60.02 feet to an inter-
section with a line parallel with and 60 feet Southerly
of the said centerline of said Katella Way; thence North
890 58' 10" East along the aforementioned parallel line
129.33 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Southwesterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence
Southeasterly and southerly along said curve through
a central angle of 880 42' 30" an arc distance of 23.22
feet to an intersection with a line 30 feet Westerly of
the centerline of said ~ountain Viw Avenue; thence
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
