RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 565
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEH1 ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
GENE E. CARSON. a single man
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and publ~c utility pur~oses
, and more partlcu arly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of the West 130 feet of the North-
east quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter
of Section 28, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
Las Bolsas, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described
as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Orangewood Avenue
and Della Lane; thence South 00 55' 35" East, 232.61 feet;
thence South 890 04' 25" West, 29.99 feet to the point of
intersection with the Easterly line of Lot 9, Tract 4695, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 180, pages 42 and 43 of said
official records, said point of intersection being the begin-
ning of a curve tangent to said easterly line of Lot 9 and
concave Southwesterly having a radius of 110.16 feet; thence
Northerly and Westerly along said curve through a central
angle of 220 23' 24" an arc distance of 43.05 feet to the
beginning of a reverse curve concave Northeasterly and having
a radius of 155.00 feet; thence Westerly and Northerly along
said curve through a central angle of 220 23' 24" an arc
distance of 60.57 feet to a point in a line that is parallel
with and distant 30.00 feet Westerlv of the centerline of
through a central angle of 890 50' 5011 an arc distance of
23.52 feet to a point in a line that is parallel with and
distant 45.00 feet Southerly of the North line of said South-
west quarter of Section 28, thence south 890 13' 3511 West
along said parallel line a distance of 85.04 feet; thence
north 00 55' 35" West 45.00 feet to a point in the North line
of said Southwest quarter; thence North 890 13' 35" East
along said North line, 130.00 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying within said
Lot 9 of Tract 4695.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
